I’m Eva, a photographer and designer based in Montréal, originally from New Jersey. I grew up surrounded by the arts and the community around NJPAC, where musicians, dancers, poets, photographers, and visual artists shaped the way I came to understand creativity. My father, a photographer active in the New Jersey jazz scene, introduced me to photography and taught me much of what I know.

After moving to Montréal, portraiture became an unexpected way for me to find my place and connect with people. What began as simply building a portfolio quickly became a love for getting to know the person in front of my camera and seeing how my impression of them evolves. Today, I photograph musicians, artists, couples, and people from all walks of life, always trying to create images that feel specific to them and reflect not only how I see them, but how they see themselves.
